Are you a junior techie? Here is your chance to get a free MacBook -TECH Central Nigeria

Enyata has launched a “Project BuildUp” initiative to help support 10,000 young Africans in their tech growth and journey over the next five years. First, they would be supporting 50 young deserving techies in Nigeria with free MacBooks and learning resources.  

Each successful applicant would receive an Apple MacBook computer and a 6-month subscription on Pluralsight. 

Available Tracks 

There are two tracks available for application: 

Engineering Track: Identifies people in the field of Frontend, Mobile and Backend Development, and Data Science/Engineering. 

Product Track: Identifies people in the field of Product Design, Product Management, and Data Analytics. 


The project which is targeted at young techies having some level of experience in any of the engineering or product tracks and who also show willingness to grow. To apply successfully you: 

  • Must be a Nigerian 
  • Must pass the aptitude test 
  • Have a personal or professional portfolio with: 
  • Github activities in the past 6 months – Engineering track 
  • Learning/project activities in the past 6 months – Product track 
  • Great attitude towards learning. 


Application deadline: November 25th, 2020. 

Aptitude Test: December 5th, 2020. 

Selection: December 12th, 2020. 

Resource Distribution: December 23rd, 2020.
